In Turkey, the tax system has independent tax courts which might be subject to supreme court or upper district courts. Tax inspectors may investigate the books and accounts and then may write tax investigation reports as well technical tax reports, if there is a tax loss. There is a very complicated procedure on tax suits which should be followed up tediously by taxpayers. Any misunderstanding or ignorance of the system might create severe loss of taxpayers' rights.
